How do I use Beek's Reek Out?

For best results, Beek's Reek-Out® can be directly applied onto any absorbent surface of sports equipment wet or dry.  It is best applied when the equipment is wet.  It soaks into every nook and cranny.   It’s important to note that when spraying down the equipment you must dampen every absorbent area of the equipment.  Then allow to dry fully after application.

Hockey Equipment Application Guidelines for a 32oz bottle/sprayer:

• 4 squirts inside each hockey glove
• 2 squirts in skate toe box
• 4 squirts inside the sole and heel of each skate
• 4 squirts per shin pad
• 4 squirts per elbow pad
• 10 squirts inside pants
• 10 squirts inside shoulder pads

Hockey Equipment application for a 6oz bottle/sprayer

• 15 squirts inside each hockey glove
• 8 squirts in skate toe box
• 16 squirts inside the sole and heel of each skate
• 16 squirts per shin pad
• 16 squirts per elbow pad
• 40 squirts inside pants

Yes.  Beek's Reek-Out® is an eco-friendly odor eliminator and is completely safe to use on your pets, clothes, or fabrics.

Will Reek-Out® work for dogs sprayed by a skunk?

Yes, Beek’s Reek-Out® Pro will work on dogs or any pet that has been sprayed by a skunk.  Just simply spray Beek’s Reek-Out on the dog’s coat until it is wet.  Make sure you put on a pair of rubber gloves and work the reek-out product into the base of the coat and then allow to dry.

How many times should I apply Reek-Out Pro® to commonly used items like skates or hockey gloves?

For well used equipment you may have to treat each piece 2 or 3 times before the odor is eliminated. The reason for this is that it takes one Reek-Out molecule to eliminate one malodor molecule.   If you can picture the amount of sweat and perspiration that has been put into that piece of equipment you will begin to understand the amount of treatments that it could take to eliminate the smell.  Once you have the odor eliminated, once a week treatment should keep your equipment smelling good.  Beek's Reek out will keep the odors away until new odor molecules are introduced.  Commonly used sports equipment like a pair of running shoes, skates, or hockey gloves should be sprayed with Beek's Reek Out on a weekly basis or until the odor returns.

What types of surfaces can you apply Beek’s Reek-Out® to?

Reek-Out should only be applied to absorbent surfaces.  It is not meant to be applied to hard surfaces such as plastic, wood, counter tops and floors.
